Updated Motorola Migrate helps iPhone users make the switch

Now that the Motorola Moto X is available in several different wood finishes, this could be the perfect time to ditch your iPhone and make the move over to Android. Even better, Motorola Migrate is going to make the job much easier, thanks to a new update for its Android app.

Up until now, the Migrate feature was designed to transfer content from an existing Android device over to a Motorola handset, but no longer. Now you can simply log into Migrate on your new Moto X, Moto G, Droid Maxx, Droid Mini or Droid Ultra and it will then pull down your contacts and calendar events directly from iCloud.

Switching platforms is always a bit of a tough (though worth it) transition, so it’s nice to see that Motorola Migrate is making the move a little less difficult. Aside from adding iCloud support, there’s also a bunch of random bug fixes, as we find in just about every Motorola app update.

To grab the update to Motorola Migrate, you’ll want to head on over to the Play Store.
