The best Apple Watch chargers you can buy

David Imel / Android Authority

The Apple Watch is one of the best smartwatches on the market today. Slim bezels and mountains of watch faces make it an enticing buy for anyone in the iOS ecosystem. Once you drop the cash for your watch, though, you’ll have to keep it powered on. Here are the best Apple Watch chargers you can buy right now.

We’ve done our best to include cables, stands, and even some wireless options. If you’re looking for a new watchband as well, we have a guide for that.

The best Apple Watch chargers:

Anker PowerWave 3-in-1 Apple Watch charger

For many people, Anker is to chargers what Spigen is to cases — the king. Its PowerWave 3-in-1 wireless charger is a perfect example of just what we mean. This wireless charging station comes ready to bring your iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods back to full strength. Of course, your devices have to be ready for wireless charging to make everything go smoothly. Anker even built a cable management system into the bottom of the stand so you can hide those bright white cables.

Belkin travel stand

This folding Belkin travel stand is a perfect companion when you’re on the go. You’ll have to use your included charging cable, but it takes seconds to adjust to the perfect angle. Belkin’s stand comes with a cable management system so you can wrap up your Apple Watch charger and stuff it in a bag at a moment’s notice. Whether you prefer vertical or horizontal charging, this is your new travel buddy.

If you’re determined to charge on the go, you can’t top Choetech’s power bank. It has all of the magnetic convenience of a standard Apple Watch charger, but it’s a 5,000mAh power bank that doesn’t need an outlet. You can even charge your Apple Watch and your iPhone simultaneously with the USB-A output. When you need to recharge, the Choetech power bank plugs vertically and still works as a charging stand.

This next Apple Watch charger won’t do much to keep the lights on, but it’s a great trip down memory lane. Elago’s W4 stand is designed to look like the classic 1998 iMac, and you can choose from blue or pink finishes. All you have to do is tuck your current cable into the back of the soft silicone stand, and you’re in business. You just may want to find a retro-inspired watch face to match your new stand.

Newdery cordless charger

If you’re really tight on space, Newdery is the way to go. This charger is completely cordless, so you can just plug it right into your charging block. No matter where you are, all you need is a USB-A port. The Newdery Apple Watch Charger also has a plastic cover so you can keep dirt and debris clear when you’re on the go. It comes in black or white if you want to match your other accessories.

The Powlaken charging cable is a good way to keep things simple. You won’t really find any bells or whistles here, just a hardworking cable that measures one meter long. It comes in white, so it’s almost indistinguishable from Apple’s standard offering. Almost all of the other options on this list require a charging cable anyway, so this should save you a few bucks over the price of an official one.

Spigen S350

Spigen is primarily known for its cases, but this Apple Watch stand is a great way to show off your loyalties. It’s a simple product overall, and it props your watch up to serve as a handy clock. You’ll need to provide your own charging cable, but it’s easy to tuck into the rear cable slot. Spigen’s S350 comes in a few different shades to match your other Apple gadgets, including a black and Volt version perfectly tailored for the Nike edition of the watch.

Official Apple Watch charging cable

The last Apple Watch charger on our list is for those of you out there who want to follow the rules. It is, of course, the official charging cable, courtesy of Apple. It comes in 0.3-meter, 1-meter, and 2-meter lengths, though we’d have to say that the longest is best. After all, we don’t all have outlets right where we want them. As you might expect, the charging cable comes in white, and it costs more than most of the competition.
