Samsung Odyssey G5 27-inch

Samsung is well-known for its brilliant displays, so it follows that the Odyssey G5 packs a serious punch. This curved gaming monitor cracks our list of the best 144Hz options for its cutting-edge design as well as its 27-inch size. You can take full advantage of the extra real estate while you’re in-game, or you can always multitask with ease.

If Samsung’s Odyssey G5 was simply a curved display with a fast refresh rate, it might not have made the cut. This Dell monitor even keeps the gaming cues to a minimum if you want to use it for everyday work.

As for the crucial specs, Dell came to play thanks to AMD FreeSync Premium and a 1ms response time. Dell landed the perfect mix of value and performance with the S2421HGF, now if they could simplify the name.

Asus VG278QR

It’s tough to choose just one Asus VG monitor, but the line absolutely deserves to be on our list. You can grab the perfect size for your setup — anywhere from 24.5-inches up to 32-inches. Each one packs at least a 144hz refresh rate, but some of the top options reach as high as 280Hz. Asus took things a step further with response times as low as 0.5ms and optional 2K displays.

You can connect separate devices to the two ports, or you can always tap into a DisplayPort option for maximum flexibility. Acer Nitro VG240Y
