The Amazing Spider-Man 2 mobile game on its way in April
With the Amazing Spider-Man 2 on its way to theaters this May, it was only a matter of time before we received details about the movie’s obligatory mobile game. Today Gameloft officially announced the Amazing Spider-Man 2 alongside a new trailer that brings us a few seconds worth of gameplay footage and a “coming soon” banner at the end of the video.Like the original game, this is an open-world adventure with tons of missions and reasonably high-end graphics for a mobile device. While Gameloft has yet to release too many details about this one, we expect it will essentially have the same overall mechanics as the original, albeit with some gameplay improvements, supped up graphics and a new storyline.
As for when the game will land? It is expected to arrive on Android in April. Pricing has yet to be divulged, but it’s worth mentioning that the first game set users back $7 when it first launched, so we wouldn’t be too surprised if this one is also priced well above the typical $.99 – $3 range.
