Telus Galaxy S3 now available for $349, refurbished and contract-free

Just yesterday we mentioned the sweet deal that Verizon Wireless was running on a refurbished Galaxy Nexus smartphone. And well, it looks like Canadian carrier Telus has a similar deal. Well, similar in that it has a low contract-free price. The Telus offer is on the Samsung Galaxy S3 though.

Simply put, those interested in a Telus branded Galaxy S3 can pick one up for $349. And just to clarify, that is a contract-free price. Those interested in the handset on a three-year agreement will only have to shell out $49. And for those concerned with buying refurbished, Telus actually calls these devices “refreshed” and notes that they are “unused or lightly used, in like new condition, were returned within 14 to 30 days from the date of purchase.” Perhaps more important though, these handsets come with a 30 day return policy and a 90-day warranty.

Otherwise, aside from being refreshed, the Galaxy S3 will bring the same features which includes a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED HD display at 1280 x 720, a dual-core 1.5GHz processor, 16GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, 2100 mAh battery, 1.9 megapixel front-facing camera, an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera and at the moment, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
