T-Mobile's HTC One S gets software update version 2.35.531.10

Back in September, those who rock the HTC One S received an incremental software update from T-Mobile, which saw their handset moving up to Android 4.0.4. While you’re not going to get Jelly Bean this year, the carrier is now pushing out a new update to your phone.

The over-the-air (OTA) update will be rolled out from December 10 – 30. If you’d like to download and install the update now, you can manually check for the new firmware by going to your phone’s “Software updates” menu and hit the “Check Now” button.

At only 30.97MB, it’s not that big of a file. It should bring your firmware to either version 2.35.531.10 or 2.35.351.7 710RD. The description says that the update offers “an overall system performance improvements and stability.” You can view the changelog here.

Hopefully, this is a precursor to a bigger and more buttery update in the near future, though nothing has been confirmed as of now.
