T-Mobile CEO "confirms" it will carry the Pixel 4

The Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL won’t launch until tomorrow, and yet T-Mobile has pretty much publicly confirmed that it will carry the devices. T-Mobile CEO John Legere showed off an interesting dish he was preparing on social media while accompanied by a couple of Pixel 4s.

Legere posted a picture of the devices on Instagram and live-streamed them on Facebook. Of course, the posts weren’t exclusively about the Pixel 4s, but the “subtle” inclusion of the retail boxes as props was no accident.

We have already seen the Pixel 4 retail box, and Legere’s posts confirm what we saw. He didn’t show off the devices themselves, but he didn’t need to in order to get the point across.

We already believed the devices would come to all four major US carriers. Even though we aren’t surprised to see the Pixel 4 launching on T-Mobile, it is nice to see “official” confirmation.

As a couple of bonus leaks, Twitter leaker Ishan Agarwal (@ishanagarwal24) got his hands on renders of the new Google Pixel 4 fabric cases, and the Oh So Orange Pixel 4 was spotted in the wild.

The Pixel line has been using these fabric cases for a few generations now, and it looks like the accessory will make a return in three new colorways: black with a white power button, light blue, and a purple-ish color with an orange power button.

Actress and rapper Awkwafina was also caught taking a selfy with actress, comedian, and writer Alexandra Wong on the Oh So Orange Pixel at a Variety event. The image came from Wong’s Instagram stories but can now be found on Reddit.
