Instructions

  • Extract the Fastboot ZIP file to drive C: and you should get a Fastboot folder containing four files.
  • Copy the recovery-clockwork-toroplus-5.8.3.1-toroplus.img file to the Fastboot folder.
  • Turn off your phone completely.
  • Connect your phone to your computer in Fastboot Mode, as follows: Plug the USB cable into your computer first.  Then, while holding down the Volume Up and Volume Down keys, plug the other end of the cable into your phone.
  • Open a command prompt on your computer and type in the following commands. Press Enter after each command:
    • cd c:Fastboot
    • fastboot devices
    • fastboot flash recovery recovery-clockwork-toroplus-5.8.3.1-toroplus.img
  • After the installation, enter the command below on the command prompt to reboot your phone:
    • fastboot reboot

    • Great! You can now install custom kernels in your Sprint Galaxy Nexus SPH-L700 via the touch-based ClockworkMod Recovery. Enjoy being able to flash custom ROMs with your fingers.
