Razer Phone 2 is just $450 via Verizon, Best Buy ($350 off)

The Razer Phone 2 is one of the best gaming smartphones on the market, owing to its silky smooth 120Hz refresh rate and relatively powerful internals. If you’ve been waiting for a price drop before splashing out, then Best Buy has the deal for you.

The U.S. retailer is offering an unlocked Razer Phone 2 for just $449.99 with a Verizon activation, which is $350 off the original price. Don’t care for Verizon? Then you’ll need to splash out $499.99, which is still a significant $300 discount compared to the launch price.

This particular model  packs 64GB of expandable storage, but you’re also getting a 5.7-inch LCD screen (1440p), a Snapdragon 845 chipset, 8GB of RAM, and a 4,000mAh battery. Switch to the camera field, and you’ve got a 12MP+12MP telephoto rear camera pairing, as well as an 8MP front-facing shooter.

Our own Lanh Nguyen noted in his Razer Phone 2 review that you should avoid this device if camera performance is a top priority. But he still recommended it for people wanting a powerful gaming phone.
