Users can launch applications, expand and contract their status bar, as well as silence their phones. All of this can be done without ever having base contact with your phone. The application perhaps got its inspiration from Sony Sola’s hover touch feature and, basically, it very much functions in the same way.
Prox Pro is pretty much useful in sticky situations when you need both of your hands to control your phone and navigate throughout the menus. Imagine yourself with your hands all covered in batter, your phone suddenly rings, and you need to answer that important phone call. Turning off certain functions on your phone just by waving or without touching it is pretty cool if you ask me. Prox Pro’s ace feature has to be the ability to turn off the screen. However, before you can do that, you’ll need to give the application administrative permission, which most users might not be comfortable with. Then again, users who are already accustomed to custom modification and hacks on their phones may find this feature perfectly safe to use without compromising security.
