Poco X2 price, release date, deals, and more!

Poco surprised us in 2018 with the release of the Poco F1 (or Pocophone F1 in some areas of the world). Although that was an incredibly exciting phone, the company seemed to vanish almost as quickly as it arrived. Now, though, we finally have a second phone from the brand called the Poco X2. While the Poco X2 price is comparable to the Poco F1, these are distinctly very different phones.

As our specs roundup will quickly show you, the Poco X2 is more of a mid-ranger than a flagship, especially in the processor department. Also, anyone who follows Android news will probably experience a form of déjà vu looking at the specs, as they appear to line up with the previously released Redmi K30. That’s because, for all intents and purposes, the Poco X2 is just a rebranded Redmi K30.

Don’t let any of that sway you from thinking about purchasing the Poco X2 though. If nothing else, the Poco X2 price should be enough for you to at least consider the phone as a potential candidate for your next mid-ranger. Let’s dive into all the info you need to grab one!

Poco X2 release date and availability

During the India event, the company revealed the Poco X2 price as well as when you’d be able to get it in India: Tuesday, February 11. That’s an interesting date to pick, considering that’s the same day Samsung will take the wraps off the flagship Samsung Galaxy S20 series of phones.

Poco was tight-lipped on availability for the rest of the world. It’s actually possible the Poco F2 will be an India exclusive, although we expect the company to bring the device to at least a few other countries. However, which countries and when are a mystery as of now.

Poco X2 price

In India, the Poco X2 price is Rs 15,999 (~$225) for the base version with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage comes in at Rs 16,999 (~$239). The top-end model with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage version is priced at Rs 19,999 (~$281).

For the sake of comparison, the entry price for the Poco F2 — which featured a top-of-the-line processor — was around $300. That means the highest-end Poco X2 is still cheaper than the lowest-end Poco F1.

As we said earlier, the Poco X2 price around the rest of the world remains a mystery for now. Poco still hasn’t revealed any other countries that will be able to buy the phone. Hopefully, we’ll have pricing and availability for other areas soon

In the meantime, what do you think of the Poco X2 price? Is it a phone you’d think about buying. Let us know in the comments below, and be sure to bookmark this page as we will update it with more info as it comes to light.
