OnePlus 10 Pro release date and locations revealed

Today, at CES 2022, OnePlus formally announced the OnePlus 10 Pro release date. The company will launch the phone in its native China first on January 11, 2022, at 2:00 PM Hong Kong time (1:00 AM ET). It will then launch the phone in India, Europe, and North America “later in 2022.”
Interestingly, OnePlus’ announcement makes no mention of the OnePlus 10. Its statement specifically calls out the OnePlus 10 Pro release date, not the launch date of the OnePlus 10 series. It’s possible we’ll see the 10 Pro first and then see the vanilla model later.
If so, this would be a classic Oppo strategy. Oppo often launches flagship models of its phones in China first and then rolls them out slowly to other countries. Sometime later, it will launch the lesser versions of those flagships and repeat the process. We’re not certain this is what OnePlus is doing, but it certainly seems that way.
