Motorola planning to reveil something new to Europe on January 14th

Back when the Moto X was first announced, many folks in Europe were disappointed to learn that Motorola would not be releasing the handset outside of the Americas. At the time Motorola promised that they still considered Europe a key priority for Motorola and that the Moto X was simply the first in a new product portfolio, hinting something new would eventually make its way to Europe.

Since then, most of the world has seen the impressively priced Moto G, but it appears that Motorola isn’t stopping there. Motorola has now begun sending out press invites for an event that will take place in London on January 14th. In the invite, Motorola says that they will be welcoming a new “addition to the European Motorola family of products”.

Being a tease, Motorola didn’t give out any other juicy details, but we have to wonder: could the company finally be preparing to bring a higher-end flagship phone to Europe that will complement the existing Moto X and Moto G? It’s really hard to say one way or another.

It’s possible this could be a Europe (or even UK) only handset in similar vein to the Moto X, or it could be something completely brand new. Heck, who is to say it isn’t a tablet or wearable device? Again, we just don’t know.

Luckily we only have a week left before we find out what Motorola has up their sleeves. What do you think, will this be a variant of the Moto X? A brand new handset, or something else entirely?
