Is the Samsung Galaxy S5, Gear 2 and Gear Fit right for you? These videos could help you decide

Foregoing any Broadway and Bollywood theatrics, Samsung has posted videos of the Galaxy S5, Gear 2 and the Gear Fit. The videos are pleasantly simple, offering a hands-on overview and walk-through of some key features of each device. Best of all, the real-user feel and normal day-to-day functions presented will leave little question as to how these features work and, more importantly, if they will work for you.

In the Galaxy S5 video, we get a quick introduction to the phone itself, then dive straight into features like camera operations, the new Download Booster, fitness functions and more. This is not a full how-to guide, mind you, just an easy to follow overview of the functionality.

The Gear 2 and Gear Fit share a single video. The same look, feel and feature overview is presented, covering some basic functions, then diving into handling of notifications and the actual fitness tools available.

What we have here is an interesting and extremely useful third entry to a trio of video advertising concepts. We are all familiar with .

” href=”https://www.androidauthority.com/samsung-oscars-commercials-352828/”>mainstream TV commercials, product announcements and excited first-touch hands-on videos from various news sources, such as our own Galaxy S5 video from MWC last month. Part two of this trio was launched last week when Samsung put out a different pair of Official Introduction videos that highlight key features of the Galaxy S5, the Gear 2 and Gear Fit.

The first two video advertising concepts described above offer product teases and simple feature lists set to exciting and pleasant music. They are fun, but only serve to get us excited about the devices. What I love about this third set of videos is the human connection in the thorough explanation of the device features. After watching the videos, you are left with the feeling of “I can do this.” They leave no mystery to the devices, just a comfortable understanding of what a function is actually used for and if it fits into your device usage lifestyle. Now all we need to do is wait until next month when we can start to purchase these devices.

What do you think, with a few features explained and de-mystified, is the Samsung Galaxy S5, Gear 2 and/or Gear Fit right for you?
