HTC One X and One X+ prices slashed in India

With the imminent release of the 2013 flagship devices, the good news, for anyone not looking to splurge on the “latest and greatest,” is the associated price drops for last year’s high-end smartphones, which are still great devices, and become a lot more affordable. This is certainly the case with HTC. With the imminent release of the HTC One, HTC India slashed the prices of its 2012 offerings, the HTC One X and One X+.

The HTC One X, which was previously available for around Rs 32,000 (~$600), can now be yours starting from Rs 25,990 (~$490), with varying state tax levels being the deciding factor. Similarly, the HTC One X+ has seen its price slashed from a whopping Rs 38,550 (~$727) to as low as Rs 29,500 (~$556).

As a reminder, the HTC One X boasts a beautiful 4.7-inch LCD2 display with 1280×720 resolution, 1.5 Ghz quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor, 1GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage with no microSD expansion, 8MP rear camera and 1.3MP front camera, 1,800 mAh battery, Beats Audio integration, and Android 4.0 out of the box (immediately upgradeable to Android 4.1). Most of the specifications of the HTC One X+ are the same as its predecessor, with the slightly upgraded One X+ featuring a 1.7 Ghz quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor, 64 GB of internal storage, an upgraded 1.6MP front camera, and a larger 2,100 mAh battery.

Looking at the specifications, it’s difficult not to notice that both the One X and the One X+ are still amazing devices that boast beautiful design aesthetics, and are a great choice if you’re not looking to spend the Rs 42,900 (~$810) required for this year’s HTC flagship.
