HTC Butterfly arriving in Taiwan on December 11

At long last, there’s a light at the end of the tunnel for HTC, one that emanates from the 5-inch display of the HTC Droid DNA, also known as the HTC Butterfly. Here’s the latest update on the flagship smartphone’s availability.

We know that the HTC Butterfly will land in China in mid-December, but it looks like those in Taiwan will be able to get their hands on the device first. The Butterfly will be offered by Chunghwa Telecom, the country’s biggest mobile operator, starting from December 11. The price hasn’t been shared yet, but it might retail for $760 without a contract.

Meanwhile, the HTC Butterfly is up for pre-order at Expansys online stores in Italy and across Europe. In Japan, the device will also start selling by mid-December. Here’s hoping that HTC will reveal more dates for its international outing soon.

Are you looking forward to seeing the phone being released in your country? Or are you more interested in hearing more details about the upcoming HTC M7?
