How to overclock the HTC Vivid to 2.0 GHz via KangBang custom kernel

Overclocking smartphones processors is not surprising. Usually, processors are overclocked from 500 MHz or more to increase the operating speed of your phone. But, for example, if you try to overclock a 1.2 GHz processor to 2.0 GHz, that’s a different story.

If your phone is overclocked too much, it might become unstable and there might be higher risk of damage due to excessive overvoltage. On the other hand, if you successfully overclock your processor to 2.0 GHz, then the prize that awaits you is great. This is where the custom kernel called KangBang Kernel comes in.

The kernel allows you to overclock your HTC Vivid to 2.0 GHz for faster and better phone performance.

This guide teaches you how to overclock the HTC Vivid to 2.0 GHz via KangBang custom kernel.
