Google will announce these Stadia details this summer
Update, June 3, 2019 (12:49PM EST): Ahead of E3 2019, Google announced today on Twitter a livestream event set for this Thursday, June 6.
Some news can’t wait for #E3.Called Stadia Connect, the livestream will feature launch information, game announcements, and details on pricing. Even though the YouTube livestream link is already available, it currently only shows a static image.
Stadia Connect starts at 12:00PM EST.
Original article, May 24, 2019 (2:46PM EST): With Google set to talk more about its upcoming Stadia game streaming platform this summer, the company announced today on Twitter what some of those details entail.
According to the tweet, Google will talk about Stadia’s pricing and launch. Google will also make additional game announcements sometime this summer. The company previously announced that Doom Eternal and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will be available for Stadia.

We still don’t know what Google means by “this summer.” E3 2019 officially starts June 11, so perhaps Google might make an appearance at the yearly trade event. Alternatively, the company might hold a separate presentation at a date of its choosing.

We also don’t know what sort of pricing scheme Google will go with for Stadia. While the trend seems to be to go for subscription tiers, there’s also a possibility that Google will charge people for a set amount of time with each game.
