Google Shopper 3.0 arrives, introduces new UI

Google Shopper 3.0 should be arriving on Google Play today, this time bringing a new brand new UI with it. The bad news is that reports are coming in that the app is apparently unavailable for many Android users.

Testing this myself, I found that searching for the app in all my various Android devices turned up no results. Strangely enough, some users say it is working for them, so it might not be live in all regions yet.

If you DO do manage to get the app working today you’ll find that there are quite a few interesting changes in the latest version of Shopper, including a new image-focused search. In fact, it isn’t just the search that is now image-focused, just about everything in the app’s UI is designed around larger images. The changes to Shopper 3.0 aren’t just surrounding the new UI, though.

The shopping app now has a product ratings feature provided by GoodGuide that Google says will allow shoppers to become more informed about potential purchases. There are also additions such as a new sales screen and a new push notification area that adds new features and content as they arrive, to make sure you always have the most up to date information possible.

Any luck getting Google Shopper 3.0 installed or are you running into a dead end as well?
