Google Lens now available in Google Camera on Pixel, Nexus phones

TL;DR

  • Google is updating the Google Camera app with support for Google Lens.
  • Devices that support Google Camera will now be able to access Google Lens directly in the app.
  • Google Lens is also available through Google Assistant, a standalone Google Lens app, and Google Photos.

Google is rolling out a Google Camera update that gives it easy access to Google Lens. Phones that support Google Camera, such as the Pixel and Nexus devices, will now be able to access Google’s AI-powered tool  alongside the other camera modes in the app

According to 9to5Google, launching Google Lens in the Google Camera is basically the same as when it is launched through Google Assistant. This means Google Lens will give you information about objects that it can see through the viewfinder. Users can also copy, search for, and translate text.
