Update: Out of an abundance of caution, Android Authority has decided not to attend CES 2022 in person. We will, however, still cover the show remotely and our awards and other coverage will continue unabated.

Best of CES 2022 Awards

Over the past 18 months, technology has become more ingrained in our everyday lives than ever before. Products and innovations we once used as distractions have become indispensable tools for working, staying connected, and keeping sane.

As the worldwide challenges we face persist and mutate, technology’s role must be to stay one step ahead, with fresh ideas, life-changing solutions, and novel ways of thinking. Challenges, especially those faced by the world’s industries in times of crisis, are the lifeblood of the tech industry and an opportunity to innovate. That makes events like CES 2022 more important than ever and the task of highlighting the best products even more critical.

As always, Android Authority and Sound Guys will award Best of CES 2022 awards across many different product categories, from smartphones and audio to smart home, wearables, TVs, laptops, and cutting-edge innovations.

Best of CES 2022 awards will be awarded in the following product categories:

  • Smartphones/foldables
  • Laptops/Chromebooks/gaming
  • Audio
  • Smart home/home entertainment/TV
  • Smartwatches/fitness tech
  • Best concept/innovation
  • Mobile accessories

Eligibility

Our awards, like our sites, are consumer-focused. Eligibility for Best of CES 2022 awards across both sites are therefore restricted to consumer products and the innovations that influence consumer tech.

Due to the ongoing challenges surrounding travel and in-person attendance at CES 2022, eligible products and technologies don’t have to be strictly announced “at” CES 2022. Livestream launches and press release-only announcements will also be accepted. We will also accept entries from announcements and product launches made in the few weeks prior to the official dates of CES 2022. 

Products are considered based on their degree of innovation and the potential impact that they will have on the average consumer. We’re interested in products that challenge the status quo and promise to change the technological landscape over the course of the next few years. Innovations and concepts are a much broader category to judge, but once again, consumer impact is the guiding principle.

The deadline for submissions for our Best of CES 2022 Awards is January 4, 2022.

Submit entries

Although we accept multiple entries, we trust that brands will only submit those products that they believe are truly deserving and meet the requirements listed above. Our winners will be announced on Friday, January 7, 2022, so get your entries in early! Android Authority and Sound Guys honor all embargoes and NDAs.
