Original article, March 27, 2019 (4:12PM EST): Bethesda announced earlier today on Twitter that early access invites for its upcoming The Elder Scrolls: Blades mobile game are now being sent out. The announcement lines up with a previous update that invites would be sent out sometime this spring.

Bethesda notes that invites are being sent on a rolling basis. Don’t worry if you don’t yet have an invite — you could still get one in an upcoming wave. There’s still time to register for early access through the game’s website.

As part of our #TES25 celebration, we’re excited to announce that The Elder Scrolls: #Blades is officially in Early Access!

Ready to play? We’re inviting players in waves, so make sure to keep an eye on your email for the invite.

The good news is that the early access version of The Elder Scrolls: Blades features the full game. Also, there’s no non-disclosure agreement for the game — early access players can post as many screenshots and videos as they’d like.

Even better, Bethesda announced a few weeks later that early access is now available to everyone — no invite required.

In-app purchases for The Elder Scrolls: Blades range from $1.99 to $99.99 per item. Also, you must sign into your Bethesda.net account to play the early access version.

Bethesda didn’t say how long it would offer early access to The Elder Scrolls: Blades. That said, any progress and purchases made during the early access period will carry over to the final game when it launches later this year.
