Alleged internal memo suggests T-Mobile HTC One will launch April 24

We’ve known for a while now that the HTC One is coming to T-Mobile, though there has been no exact word on when it would arrive. If a new internal memo is to be believed, the date could in fact be April 24th.

The memo was first reported on by TmoNews. While it is good news to hear that the phone is arriving this month, the downside is that the memo also suggests the handset will only arrive at certain retail locations initially. It should also be offered online of course.

So it is coming soon, but how much will it set you back? That really depends on how you buy it.

If you get the phone directly from T-Mobile, you won’t be committing to a contract. Instead you will either pay the full price outright, or enter a payment agreement that is expected to set you back $99 upfront and then consist of 24 payments of around $20 each.

For those that would rather pick the phone up through a retail location such as Best Buy, you will pay $249.99 (32GB model) with a two year contract.

Outside of learning that the phone could be on its way April 24th, the memo also indicates that there will be in-store device placement and demonstrations to coincide with the launch of HTC’s newest flagship.

Just remember that until T-Mobile confirms these plans officially, you should take all of this with a grain of salt. Are you interested in getting the HTC One through T-Mobile?
