Alcatel OT-903 Android smartphone coming to Three UK

Cracking the smartphone market in Europe isn’t the easiest thing to do if you don’t have all the chops and credentials. Just ask Panasonic, as the Japanese firm is reportedly on the verge of packing its bags and leaving behind its European dream for the second time around.

We’re not sure if there’s more luck to be had for a European phone maker (French, to be exact), but it’s something that Alcatel is willing to bet its money on with the release of the One Touch 903 on Three UK.

To be perfectly honest, the Alcatel One Touch 903 is as basic as it gets. The touch bar phone comes with a 2.8-inch QVGA display (320 x 240 resolution, yikes), a 650MHz MTK 6573 processor, 150MB end-user memory, 2MP rear camera, WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, 1,300mAh battery, 3G connectivity, and Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

On the plus side, the OT-903 does come with a microSD card slot, allowing you to bump the storage space up to 32GB.

Three hasn’t mentioned how much the compact phone will be offered for, but it’s already up on its website for those who are interested. So, what’s the verdict on this one? Oui or non?
