You can read them below: Sprint: “A maintenance update occurred to part of the messaging platforms of multiple carriers in the U.S., including Sprint, which caused some customers to have older text messages sent to their devices.” Syniverse: “During an internal maintenance cycle last night, 168,149 previously undelivered text messages were inadvertently sent to multiple mobile operators’ subscribers.

Huawei P8 Review

With its elegant design, fantastic camera, and smooth performance, Huawei checks all the right boxes with the P8, a device that can go toe to toe with the current crop of flagship smartphones. Huawei has been on a solid run lately, with various fantastic smartphone offerings that cover the price spectrum. With their latest flagship, Huawei decided to drop the Ascend moniker, while retaining what defines the company’s P-series of smartphones: style, beauty, and great performance.

Humble Bundle app update rolling out - major UI overhaul, can now download audio and ebooks

In addition to the overhaul, which includes better organized categories and a cleaner pull-out left hand menu, is the ability to handle both eBooks and audio. Now, if you’ve never purchased one of Humble Bundle’s Android bundles, of which there are now six, or any other bundle containing Android apps, ebooks or audio, then this app is not for you. The new Humble Bundle app layout has left hand menu quick access to ‘All Android Games’, ‘Ready to Play’ and ‘Game Updates.

It's been two years since the last Nokia flagship phone. What gives?

Two years is an eternity in the smartphone industry. Back in February 2019, Huawei was still offering phones with Google support and was aiming for the number one spot. Samsung hadn’t even released its first foldable yet. It also marked the last time HMD released a Nokia-branded flagship smartphone. Launched at MWC 2019, the company unveiled the Nokia 9 PureView — its last phone powered by a Snapdragon 800-series processor. That’s an incredibly long time for a smartphone brand to go without a flagship product, especially when other companies are offering high-end phones every year or even every six months.

Many Huawei phones support exposure notification API

Huawei didn’t say exactly which phones would support the API, but they need to support Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) functionality. It’s not always clear which handsets support BLE, but they must at least run Android 4.3 or newer, so that’s one possible identifier. Compatible Huawei devices will see the update when the exposure notification system goes live in the coming months. Google and Apple are expected to release the API framework next month, so hopefully, the public release won’t come too long after that.

Note 3 Android 4.4 update starts rolling out to AT&T

After first touching down to Sprint, US Cellular and T-Mobile, an Android 4.4 update is finally making its way to the Galaxy Note 3 on AT&T’s network! Just like what we’ve seen from the Galaxy Note 3 update from other networks, there’s really not a lot new here outside of all the new KitKat features you’d expect. There are at least a few small Samsung-specific changes, however, such as minor visual changes like the new all-white status bar icons and new sound controls.

QWOP is now available for Android, still making us look silly.

If you’ve got nothing going on today, and feel the need to be humbled, give QWOP a try. A track and field game that looks like something out of Archer, the Android version made its debut on the Play Store yesterday. A long standing iOS and PC favorite, QWOP is an acquired taste. If you like really difficult games that make you want to break your device out of frustration, this one is for you.

Samsung is the next tech giant to chase after prominent leakers

Robert Triggs / Android Authority TL;DR Samsung is cracking down on leaks by sending copyright claims to take down images and videos. Some material could vanish within days. This doesn’t affect sites reporting on leaks. Some of the images will disappear within days, Jambor said, and this was reportedly “just the beginning.” Well-known leak sharer Evan Blass suggested he would delete posts for Samsung material. The author stressed that Samsung was only chasing after the original purveyors, not media outlets reporting on those leaks.

The best cover options to protect your device

Even though smartphones have gotten much sturdier in the last five or so years, it is never a bad idea to have phone insurance.
