Launchers are a great way to spice up the look and feel of your Android phone, while also bringing new features to the table. From Nova Launcher and Microsoft Launcher to Niagara Launcher and beyond, there are quite a few options out there.
Do you use your phone’s default launcher or do you download a different launcher altogether? That’s the topic of our featured poll today, so give us your answer below.

Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy Book Pro and Pro 360, its first Windows laptops with AMOLED screens. Both are thinner and lighter, with 11th-gen Intel Core CPUs and tighter integration with Samsung mobile devices. They’re available to pre-order now, starting at $999.99/£1,099 for the Pro and $1,199.99/£1,199 for the Pro 360. The Galaxy Book Pro line is Samsung’s first Windows PC range with AMOLED screens — no QLED like in earlier systems or the Galaxy Chromebook 2.
Google Express is over six years old at this point, yet many people have never used it before. When it launched in 2013, it was exclusive to very specific areas of the United States due to its ambitions of being a same-day delivery shopping experience. As such, people might think it still only works in certain areas of the country.
However, as long as you live in the continental United States, you can shop at Google Express.
In the past couple of years, the “screen-to-body” ratio has become an important metric for both phone marketers and consumers. We used to look past the thick bezels found on most smartphones, but now we seem to want handsets with as little bezel as possible, so the display can be bigger and still comfortably fit in one hand.
This month, two smartphones came extremely close to having no bezels at all for their displays.
T-Mobile has been aggressively expanding its network in the last few years. If you’ve turned on a television recently, you’ve probably seen a commercial telling you so. Part of that expansion is T-Mobile’s push into using band 12 (700 MHz) and band 71 (600 MHz). These lower frequency bands can pass through walls and structures easier giving users better indoor coverage.

Olive Union’s new Olive Pro earbuds aim to blur lines between true wireless buds and hearing aids. They’re designed to amplify and clarify voices, but still provide an enjoyable experience for music. The crowdfunded buds are available through a $149 pledge ahead of an expected early 2021 release. If you’re hard of hearing but still want earbuds to soundtrack your life, you might have a viable option.
Some forum-goers say the phone heats up in seconds while using the camera app. A few have also reported disappointing battery life of about 3.5-4 hours of screen-on time. Several users also note that they’re using 4G versions, suggesting that over-heating isn’t due to 5G connectivity.
Additionally, a Twitter user recently demonstrated how their Exynos Galaxy S20 Ultra continues to exhibit problems with auto-focus.
The video posted by @pegasaie (h/t: WCCFTech) apparently shows the Galaxy S20 Ultra struggling to focus on an object right in front of the camera lens.
Verizon’s Visible service is a prepaid carrier geared towards Millennials. With no physical stores, no contracts, and a single, all-in pricing plan, Visible wants to be the prepaid carrier of choice for people who don’t see the need for a confusing postpaid carrier experience. In this Visible review, we want to let you know all about how it works and whether it will be a good fit for you.
Today, Visible is announcing a temporary lift on one of its biggest service caveats: a 5Mbps speed limit.
Honor has launched its new flagship smartphone, the View 20, in Europe. The handset, which was first revealed in December in China, is among the first Android phones to include a punch hole-style notch and a 48MP camera. Here’s a quick look at its specs.
Most of the attention is on that inconspicuous cutout at the top-left of its Full HD display, but the View 20 is no one-trick pony. The handset also includes a time-of-flight (TOF) sensor which can help map 3D objects in the real world — something which has significant implications for AR/VR (you can read more on TOF tech here).
It finally happened: With a few quick swipes and taps, our mobile devices become conduits of live two-way video through which we can speak face-to-face with family members, significant others, friends, colleagues, and acquaintances. Video chat is no longer science fiction and can be part of our daily communications. However, it seems that only a relative few are actually using this game-changing technology,
According to a study from last fall, about 68 percent of all American adults own a smartphone, which is roughly two in three American adults.
