The Samsung Galaxy S8 is about to officially launch in the US, and while reviews for the smartphone, and its larger brother the Galaxy S8 Plus, have been mostly positive so far, some people might still have questions about how much abuse the phone can take. Thankfully, the popular JerryRigEverything YouTube channel is willing to spend the money to try to scratch, burn and bend their copy of the Galaxy S8.

This past summer, Google’s Sameer Samat stood on stage at Google I/O and revealed the next major version of Wear OS. “It’s the biggest update to Wear OS, ever,” he said.
Indeed, combining operating systems with a company like Samsung means big things for the platform. Samsung’s Tizen-based smartwatches have consistently outperformed Wear OS watches in market share, so it’s no small thing that Samsung dropped its homegrown OS in favor of Google’s.
Samsung revealed a partnership with AMD back in 2019 which would see the graphics company build a GPU for Exynos smartphone processors. It’s been a wait since then, but now Samsung has finally announced the first product in this partnership, the Exynos 2200.
The Exynos 2200 brings a Samsung 4nm design as well as the new Armv9 CPU cores. The core layout is similar to Mediatek and Qualcomm’s latest SoCs, featuring a single Cortex-X2 for heavy lifting, three Cortex-A710 cores for medium tasks, and four Cortex-A510 little cores.
Laptops grabbed a lot of attention at CES 2019. Loads of great models debuted, including the Lenovo Legion Y740, Razer Blade 15, and Dell XPS 13. However, we also saw a number of awesome desktops in Las Vegas aimed at gamers, artists, and business owners. Here are the five best desktop computers to be announced at the show.
MSI Infinite SMSI’s Infinite S is aimed at gamers. It’s a very compact tower at just 348 x 244 x 128mm, but it still packs impressive specs.
Acer Chromebook Spin 514The Acer Chromebook Spin 514 is a tough, attractive machine thanks to a military-grade durability rating and aluminum chassis, but it is held back a bit by processor performance and battery life. Nevertheless, it's a well-built rugged Chromebook that gets the job done at its own pace.

Sometimes (slightly) bigger is better. Computing on small screens can leave you feeling cramped and unproductive. That’s why the Acer Chromebook Spin 514 packs a 14-inch screen in a convertible form factor, giving you a wide range of ways to use it.
For a while now, digital stores that offer mobile applications for various platforms have introduced a new way for developers to make money and customers to enjoy extra content – in-app purchases. But in-app purchases aren’t always hassle-free and if you don’t pay extra attention to what you’re doing, you will probably not enjoy the extra purchased content.
Google Play offers Android developers and users, the in-app purchases feature, and we’re about to make your app content purchasing a lot easier.
TL;DR
In Android P, the volume slider that appears when you hit the hardware volume rocker has been moved from the top of the screen to the right-hand side. It is now vertical instead of horizontal. There are also new controls to manage where your phone is casting media. There’s no word on if the volume slider can be moved to the left-hand side of the screen for lefties, which might initiate some complaints if not possible.
To say that the quality of games on Android has improved since the early days is an understatement, but great graphics alone don’t make a title worth the time investment. It’s the gameplay that keeps folks coming back for more.
This explains why some keep going back to playing classic arcade games on their Android device – using emulators like Mame4droid – despite the less than impressive graphics. We’re sure nostalgia also plays a role, though.
Whether you like the positioning Samsung chose for the fingerprint reader or not, it is one of those Galaxy S8 features you will be using most often. Are you looking to set it up?
Samsung takes you through the process during the initial set-up, but you may have skipped that or need to further refine the experience. We are here to help you get those digits ready for prime time! Let’s jump right in.
HTC One M9+The HTC One M9+ brings to users what many expected from the company's main flagship, with its upgraded Quad HD display and very reliable fingerprint scanner. The somewhat choppy performance when multi-tasking, and more evident issues while gaming means that this high-end device may not be for everyone. Table of contents
An increasingly prevalent trend in the smartphone world is the introduction of “Plus” smartphones, that typically bring better specifications and more features over what is available with the main flagship from the OEM.
