OnePlus 10R leaks, Dimensity 9000 maybe onboard

Dhruv Bhutani / Android Authority TL;DR The OnePlus 10R just leaked. The leak has specs and information on a vague release schedule. It is unlikely the phone would land anywhere but China and India. In 2021, OnePlus dropped its first “R” phone with the OnePlus 9R. This phone was exclusive to China and India and represented the lowest-tier device in the OnePlus 9 series. The company followed it up with the OnePlus 9RT, which launched at the end of last year.

OnePlus promises HDR and Nightscape fix for OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7 Pro

There’s no doubt that the camera system on the OnePlus 7 Pro is the most ambitious from the company yet. With its triple-lens setup and 3x optical zoom, the OnePlus 7 Pro represents the company’s biggest push yet to ditch its status as the maker of just so-so cameras. However, OnePlus fans over at the company’s official forums are still not pleased with the camera on the OnePlus 7 Pro. A new thread entitled “Camera quality sucks…” is already 35 pages deep and filled with early adopters complaining about image quality (to be fair, some are also defending it).

OTA Update Center makes it easier for users and developers to update devices with custom ROM's

One thing that custom ROM’s don’t benefit from, the way stock ROM’s do, is a good way of checking for updates on your phone and then being able to update the ROM with the latest version from there. If this were to be done easily and painlessly, I think a lot more people would be interested in using custom ROM’s for their phones. Some use custom ROM’s just because they like being on the cutting edge, even if they already have a phone with the latest version of Android.

It’s said to be something of a relaxing title, with an emphasis on exploring the painterly locations rather than quick reactions or deep strategizing.

UK Post Office launches its own PAYG SIMs

UK customers are quite spoilt for choice when it comes to mobile networks and another player has just entered the ring, looking to carve itself out a piece of the market. The not long privatized Post Office has launched a pay-as-you-go SIM that aims offer cheaper calls and texts than some of its competitors. Calls to UK landline and mobile numbers, regardless of network, are locked at 8p per minute. This is pretty reasonable, but isn’t necessarily the cheapest deal available in the UK.

Zoom alternatives: Here are the 8 best ones to consider

Edgar Cervantes / Android Authority Zoom is one of the best and most popular video conferencing platforms out there. It’s used to host one-on-one or group meetings as well as webinars. However, it’s not the only one of its kind, as there are plenty of Zoom alternatives available to choose from. Although the basic premise of every competing service is the same, they all differ from one another in terms of features, pricing, and various limitations they have in place.

Bloomberg confirms Galaxy Gear is coming soon, no flexible display

Samsung Galaxy Gear concept Just a couple of days ago, a report from Sam Mobile claimed that the rumored Galaxy Gear is real and coming soon. But Sam Mobile has been known to be wrong about its leaks from time to time, so it’s good to get confirmation about the Gear smartwatch from a more authoritative source. Citing “people familiar with the matter”, Bloomberg says the Gear will be able to make calls, surf the web and handle e-mails, and that the device will be powered by an Android version.
