If there’s one set of product categories that define the CES experience, it is televisions and monitors. Each January, TV and monitor manufacturers from LG to Panasonic and Samsung to TCL unveil their product ranges for the year. Buying a new smartphone can be a difficult decision, as there are seemingly endless options that cover the specifications, features, and price spectrum. After a period of silence from its relatively new ‘Made for Samsung’ program, some may have been wondering whatever happened to the company’s exclusive software initiative. Google announced today that Google Pay will soon work with the Metropolitan Transportation Authority’s (MTA) OMNY contactless fare payment system in New York City. As part of a public pilot program that starts May 31, MTA riders can use Google Pay with all Staten Island buses.
