Exclusive Weather Channel app launched for three Galaxy handsets

After a period of silence from its relatively new ‘Made for Samsung’ program, some may have been wondering whatever happened to the company’s exclusive software initiative. However, Samsung and The Weather Channel have teamed up to release a new weather app specifically for some Galaxy handsets today. ‘The Weather Channel for Samsung’ app is now live in the Galaxy Apps store, you can find it by searching for “Weather Channel”. However, it’s only officially available for the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, S6 edge+, and the Galaxy Note 5, which is a really minuscule selection of phones.

Google Pay will work with New York's OMNY

Google announced today that Google Pay will soon work with the Metropolitan Transportation Authority’s (MTA) OMNY contactless fare payment system in New York City. As part of a public pilot program that starts May 31, MTA riders can use Google Pay with all Staten Island buses.
