Using a free VPN for Kodi — is it a good idea?

Sorry to break it to you, but using a free VPN for Kodi is a bad idea — really bad. If you care about your privacy, you definitely shouldn’t do it. Using a VPN for Kodi has its advantages. You can bypass geo-restrictions and access to more content. You can also hide your identity online, if some of the Kodi add-ons you’re using aren’t completely legal. Using a VPN for Kodi is definitely a good idea, but only if you go with a paid plan offered by a reputable provider.

Asus delivers a rather odd press conference

Press conferences often attempt to hype up and oversell new products and ideas, but Asus has really taken it up a notch. Asus has uploaded some highlights of its MWC presentation to Youtube for us all to see, but it’s not quite what you might have been expecting. The video is definitely worth a watch, but be prepared to cringe in places. The presenter is clearly convinced by the products, but the slightly hesitant clapping at the end suggests that the audience may have been a little more bewildered by the whole experience.

According to the Bluetooth SIG website, Samsung is working on an “AI speaker” called the Galaxy Home Mini. The website doesn’t give us much more to go on, other than its model number (SM-V310) and Bluetooth 4.

Microsoft exFAT file system licensed out to manufacturers

Storage is one of the things that can make or break a device. Inadequate storage is a limiting factor in the apps and data you can load on your smartphone or tablet. Additionally, slow storage will also result in a less fluid user experience. Storage in mobile devices is constantly improving, although to reduce cost, device manufacturers will usually still use Flash-based storage systems instead of faster SSDs. Microsoft, for one, recognizes the need for better storage systems, and has come up with a system called exFAT (which stands for Extended File Allocation Table).
