Last month the team behind theMinuum keyboard revealed they were working on bringing their one-line keyboard over to Android Wear devices. Now that the first Android Wear devices are commercially available, Minuum is bringing us an early demo showing us exactly how their keyboard works on the cramped screen of an Android Wear smartwatch.
As you can see in the video above, using the keyboard seems to work rather well, in large part thanks to the excellent predictive capabilities built into Minuum.
Apple’s iPhone 5 got its fair share of Chinese Android-based clones before and around the time of its release, but since it’s been out there hasn’t been much movement in Shanzhai Land. The Zophone i5 has been the only half decent knock-off to come to our attention in months, and, while that copied iPhone 5’s design by the letter, it didn’t exactly rock the specs of a lifetime.
We don’t want to be mean (oh, alright, we do), but it was like “the thinnest, lightest and fastest iPhone ever” was not worth the efforts anymore – or at least not as much as Samsung’s Galaxy S3 and Note 2.
Popular ride-hailing service Uber has just made it easier for users in India to book a cab without using their app, as well as order a ride on behalf of a friend or family member.
The “Dial an Uber” feature that does not require an app to book a ride, and all you have to do is go go to to www.dial.uber.com on your mobile and login by simply entering your phone number, since the web app version does not require you to create a new Uber account.
There aren’t enough superlatives to describe the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 – well, maybe we just have to get a new dictionary. But anyway, you’ve seen our hands-on image gallery of the extraordinary phone and its impressive benchmark result. Now we’re sure you’re wondering how soon you can get your hands on one
Samsung has been rather coy about the Galaxy Note 2’s release date and price, though we do know that it’s coming to most markets in October and others before the end of the year.
After months of beta testing, the Vivaldi browser finally sees a stable Android release. It lands at the same time as the latest Vivaldi 3.0 desktop browser, and the Android app is optimized for smartphones, tablets, and even Chromebooks with Android app support.
Not too much has changed between the Vivaldi beta and stable releases, and that’s a good thing. Vivaldi now sports all of the best features we loved about the beta but in a more stable, consumer-ready package.

Comments in the Chromium Gerrit point to older Chromebooks not getting Android P. Those Chromebooks feature kernel 3.14 or older and include 2015’s Google Chromebook Pixel. Keep in mind that this is not Android P support in the sense that Chromebooks will run a full version of Android. Rather, Android P would be used as the underpinnings for when you download apps from the Play Store, for example.
Picture this: you are having a nice romantic dinner, or it’s time to spend a free day with your loved one, and find yourself mostly talking to a person that has his/her face so sunk into their phones you feel like the Titanic song is about to start playing.
But this one is not a sweet feeling. Instead, you are left wanting to grab that phone, break it in half (like the same ship) and maybe make a close-by puddle its new wreckage site.

The Asus ROG Phone 3 has been spotted in a TENAA listing. The listing reveals most of its hardware specs. The gaming phone is expected to launch in July. The Asus ROG Phone 2 was one of the most powerful gaming phones in 2019 and it’s successor — the ROG Phone 3 — could once again offer blazing-fast performance. The upcoming device has appeared in a TENAA listing (h/t XDA Developers), revealing a familiar outer design but upgraded insides.
One of the most common criticisms leveled at Android, is the lack of consistency between applications. Since it’s an open platform, Android gives developers the freedom to bring their creative vision to life – but this isn’t always a good thing from the user’s perspective. If you flick through a few apps on your Android device then chances are you’ll encounter at least a couple of applications that look very different from one another – and potentially very different from the Android system in general!

Google announced it will make its Measure tool available for Google Earth. The tool lets you measure the distance between two points, as well as the length, width, and area. You can play around with the Measure tool in the Chrome browser today. Google already launched its Measure app for ARCore-enabled smartphones, but why not up the ante and make it available elsewhere? That is exactly what Google did with the latest update to Google Earth, which now lets you measure the distance and area of anything on the map.
