Google has announced that Real Tone filters are now available on Google Photos. These filters are made with more diverse skin tones in mind. One of the Pixel 6 line‘s standout features was its focus on accurately capturing more diverse skin tones. Google announced at I/O 2022 that it would maintain this focus with so-called Real Tone filters in Google Photos, and we didn’t have to wait long to see them.

Samsung’s mobile chief apparently made two trips to the US to secure more chipset volume. It’s claimed that an unnamed global chipmaker refused Samsung’s request. Now, The Elec reports that the situation became so dire for Samsung that mobile chief TM Roh made two trips to the US earlier this year to ask an unnamed global chipmaker (presumably Qualcomm) for more processors. Sources told the outlet that Roh made a trip in March and another in July to request more chips, but it’s claimed that Roh’s request was denied.

Tile’s item tracking now covers your fitness tracker that fell between the couch cushions. The company has formed a partnership that will help find lost Fitbit devices through the Tile app, beginning with the Inspire 2.
An update rolling out this week for Fitbit’s wearable will make its last known location visible through the app, including through Tile’s worldwide network if the gadget is beyond Bluetooth range. The tracker itself, meanwhile, can ring your phone if you’ve misplaced it.
