Imagine this: you’re on your smartphone trying to break your high score on Temple Run 2, but as you play, you realize the battery is slowly draining. You decide to plug it in when you see that there’s no room on your outlet- instead your little sibling took up the spot because he drained all his battery trying to catch some new Pokemon.
I’m sure that’s a scenario we can all relate to.

Blackview’s P10000 Pro sports a huge 11,000mAh battery that promises seven days of use. The battery also promises 50 days of standby. That is more than the average laptop or tablet. Thanks to more advanced processors, it has become harder for a smartphone to have truly horrendous battery life. Still, there is still something to be said for sticking a gigantic battery in a phone and calling it a day.

From the Vault: As the streaming space keeps growing, massive studio catalogues are becoming more and more available. These include lost and forgotten gems, so-bad-it’s-good duds, and just plain weird pieces of film history. And you probably won’t find them by waiting for streamers to put them in front of you. In From the Vault, Android Authority aims to rescue these titles from the algorithm graveyard and help you get more out of your streaming subscriptions.

Motorola has teased a device called the Moto Edge X. It’s believed this phone will be the first device with the Snapdragon 898 SoC. We’re winding down the year, and one December tradition is Qualcomm launching a new flagship smartphone processor. We’re expecting the Snapdragon 898 to be revealed next month, and it now seems like Motorola might be the first brand to offer a phone with this SoC.
This week, Google announced that it will combine Meet and Duo but promised to keep the best features of both video calling apps in the joint venture. News like this isn’t surprising anymore. The company is known for frequently launching and then ruthlessly abandoning apps and services. So much so that we have a Google Graveyard documenting every short-lived project it has undertaken.
My gut reaction, and that of many people who have found themselves stuck on the Google rollercoaster — particularly the messaging one — was to sigh in resignation.
US Cellular will soon be spreading their wings a bit. This news comes by way of a recently announced partnership with Walmart and means those shopping for US Cellular services or devices will soon have quite a few additional retail locations to visit. More to the point, Walmart will soon begin selling US Cellular post-paid services and devices at “more than” 460 locations across the country.
And for those thinking that something sounds familiar with US Cellular and Walmart, back in May they announced U Prepaid, which is a no-contract wireless service offering.
