Most modern smartphones still support the classic SIM card (well, the nano variant at least), but a gradually growing number of phones and other consumer gadgets are starting to support eSIM. We might not be too far away from yet another change in SIM tech, as devices could soon start using iSIM.
Earlier this year, Arm unveiled its vision for the iSIM – an integrated SIM that fits into a device’s system-on-a-chip. In the future, along with a CPU, GPU, LTE or 5G modem, your next phone SoC could also include the SIM card built inside it too.

Boasting a design overhaul and a compelling price point, OnePlus is hoping to marry the features of their most recent flagship, the OnePlus 2, with the value of its predecessor.
Samsung’s recently unveiled Galaxy S10 series will work with the Gear VR (2017) headset, according to Road to VR. The website reported the new phones would be compatible despite their varying display sizes and 19:9 aspect ratios. The Gear VR 2017 headset launched with the 5.7-inch, 16:9 Galaxy Note 7.
A Samsung rep also told The Verge the necessary adapter is included with the Gear VR already, so the phones should be easy enough to set up.
With the recently announced Samsung Nexus 10 we get a powerful Android 10-inch tablet that even manages to beat out Apple’s retina display. The only question left is whether or not the tablet’s excellent resolution is good enough to compete with in-print magazine pages.
Google+ user “Romain Guy” has now posted some pictures to his plus page that shows off a couple shots of the Nexus 10 running a few pages of a virtual magazine.

Samsung launched the One UI 4.0 beta in recent days, giving Galaxy owners a taste of what’s to come with the stable update later this year. The beta, which is available for Galaxy S21 series owners right now, brings some Android 12 features as well as quite a few Samsung-specific tweaks.

Although the Nexus 4 only supported GSM networks such as T-Mobile and AT&T in the United States, Google officially revealed last Thursday that the newly announced Nexus 5 also works with Sprint’s CDMA network.Considering the last Sprint-compatible Nexus device was the aging Galaxy Nexus, this was pretty exciting news for Sprint Android fans. Even better was the revelation that you could forgo buying the handset through Sprint and instead could pick up the device directly from Google Play.
