Boomerang will stream your favorite old TV cartoons to your Android phone this spring

We live in an era where more and more streaming services are popping up, bringing specialized content of movies and TV to anyone who owns a mobile device, and can also pay a monthly fee. Earlier today, we reported on the launch of BritBox in the US, offering tons of access to new and classic UK TV shows. Now, fans of classic animated TV shows can look forward to Boomerang, which will offer thousands of those kinds of shows to Android and other devices later this spring.

For new apps that you haven’t downloaded, you have to navigate all the way to the bottom of the “About This App” section to find the “What New” option that contains the changelog. However, if you’re already using an app, its changelog appears right on top when you open it on the Play Store.

It’s November, and Samsung’s Developer Conference is in full swing. Did we learn anything new? Not really. At the conference, Samsung introduced the new Bixby Developers Kit, which allows coders to make new actions for Bixby. You can control things from your home to your car, and the company showed a number of use cases in which the Galaxy Home could be useful using developer-enabled actions. The trouble is, we still don’t know exactly when you’ll be able to get a Galaxy Home or how much it will cost.

Leaked phone number reveals even Mark Zuckerberg is on Signal

Zuckerberg’s number was one of millions leaked in a 2019 Facebook hack. It was revealed just a few days ago that phone numbers and other details belonging to 533 million Facebook users had leaked on a hacking forum. The trove of data may have been obtained via a 2019 vulnerability that has since been patched, and it turns out that Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg’s phone number was leaked as well.

Nano-SIM card standard decided by ETSI

ETSI, short for the European Telecommunications Standards Institute, has decided on the next-generation SIM card, also known as the nano-SIM card. The fourth form factor, or 4FF, design will be 40% smaller than the current micro-SIM version, and it should help smartphone and tablet makers reduce the size of SIM trays in future devices and find a different use for the freed space. The 4FF SIM card will measure 12.3 x 8.

OnePlus 10T rumors surface again: No Snapdragon processor? -

It could be a Mediatek flagship or even one with the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chip. We still haven’t seen a vanilla OnePlus 10, even though one has been rumored for a while now. However, we’re hearing about the so-called OnePlus 10T again, suggesting that it may be the company’s next flagship device.

Just in time for summer, Pebble has launched version 3.12 of their smartwatch’s software, and the spotlight is on the expansion of health-tracking services. Previously, your Pebble device has been able to count steps and monitor your sleep, but with the new tools in this update you can get a much more comprehensive perspective of your fitness life and better metrics to determine if you are meeting your goals. Pebble Health, the fitness focused smartphone app that accompanies your smartwatch, now shows a larger picture of your achievements.

Project Ara has reportedly been axed (Update: Confirmed. She's dead, Jim)

Update: The rumors detailed in this article have been confirmed entirely. Ara is officially dead, but Google may license parts of the project's technology to other manufacturers. Project Ara, Google’s ambitious modular phone, has reportedly been shelved. Reuters reports that Google’s new head of hardware – and former Motorola CEO – Rich Osterloh has been streamlining the company’s scattered hardware projects. One of the first victims of this culling is Project Ara, claim two people familiar with the matter.

Samsung confirms fix for Galaxy Note 5 S Pen "problem"

When the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 released back in August of last year, many were impressed with the new, modified S Pen it shipped with. Rather than utilizing a pull-to-detach approach, the stylus instead is spring-loaded and can be ejected by pressing it. Unfortunately, the new installation was not without a potential problem for those who might accidentally seek to stow the stylus in reverse. Samsung has now confirmed that it has quietly modified the design of the Note 5 to alleviate the unsuitable situation that might result.
