Huawei Ascend G6 hands on (MWC 2014)

The Ascend G6 is rather premium looking device that continues with the design language that Huawei introduced last year with the Ascend P6. You get the same clean lines without many needless flourishes, the same rounded bottom, and the same placement of buttons and ports. The back plate of the device is a smooth plastic that doesn’t pick up a lot of fingerprints and oil stains. The faux metal accents around the camera and on the sides also complement the main material nicely.

2016 saw an interesting shift in OnePlus‘ smartphone strategy, in that the company chose to release a follow-up to the OnePlus 3, the OnePlus 3T, a mere six months after the former. PayPal, Discover partner to bring PayPal payments to offline merchants

While primarily an online payment system, PayPal is now reaching out to the offline world in partnership with Discover, so that users can pay for purchases made in brick-and-mortar stores. PayPal’s partnership with Discover will let the millions of PayPal users make purchases from 7-million Discover-enabled stores around the U.S. While the card processor may not be as popular among consumers as MasterCard and Visa, the network reaches as many merchants as the two combined.
