You think Galaxy flagships should only use Snapdragon chips

Ryan Haines / Android Authority A Korean news outlet has made the incredulous claim that Samsung could skip Exynos chipset launches in 2023 and 2024 ahead of an ambitious high-end Samsung chipset releasing in 2025. If confirmed, this could mean Samsung’s Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S24 phones would be exclusively powered by Snapdragon silicon. AT&T continues to threaten cities with lawsuits unless given what they want

As this site has mentioned a number of times, it is rather unbelievable to see internet service providers (ISP’s) continue to pass on wiring a large portion of the country yet then object to residents in those areas wanting to pay for fast internet themselves. Granted, the ISP’s make sure to receive all the tax benefits from those areas whether they are wired or not. Whenever a major ISP is entering a new market, they scream about needing a “level playing field” yet they turn around and do everything they can to make it as difficult as possible for competitors to enter those same markets.

Big-Screen Phone Or Tablet? What Android Device To Buy?

Tablets are a relatively new entry to the Android ecosystem but even so, they’ve quickly become a popular gadget to have. Being always-on and always connected has made it the go-to gadget for checking email, catching up on social sites and browsing the web. On top of all that, some versions can even make and receive calls, turning them into an ideal all-in-one device. Some of the models to currently out (as of this writing) are the HTC Flyer, the newer Samsung Galaxy Tab models and the Motorola Xoom.

In a press event in Mumbai yesterday, Fitbit announced the launch of Fitbit Versa in India. The company’s lightest smartwatch features a 4-day battery lift and cross-platform compatibility, along with two new marquee features – female health tracking and quick replies. The former allows women to track their menstrual cycles and symptoms while the latter allows Android users to respond to text messages or messages on WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger on the go from the watch itself.

Google makes Assistant more accessible to people with disabilities

TL;DR Google Assistant is now more accessible through Tobii tablets and apps. Eye tracking, touch and scanning make Assistant an option for those with disabilities. You can use Tobii to create Action Blocks on Android, too. Google Assistant can be very helpful for questions and day-to-day tasks, but it can be difficult to use if disabilities make it difficult to speak or use a conventional touchscreen. That might not be an issue for much longer, however.

Google offering three free movies for Chromebook owners

Just two days ago, we reported that Google was once again giving out free Google Play credits to owners of Android TV or Chromecast devices. Now Google is continuing to reward owners of their products by offering three free movies to anyone who owns a Chromebook. What movies are available? The list is limited but eclectic.
