Google is bringing the Pixel Buds A to India. The affordable true wireless earbuds will go on sale below Rs 10,000 beginning August 25. Some months ago, Google announced the Pixel Buds A, its new budget-orientated earbuds in a few regions. Now, they’re finally heading to India to compete in the country’s competitive mid-range buds market.
The Pixel Buds A are visually identical to the second generation Pixel Buds and include many of the same core touch controls.

Both the Samsung Galaxy S10 and the Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus have an in-display fingerprint sensor which can be used to unlock the smartphones, among other things. The fingerprint sensor, developed by Qualcomm, uses ultrasonic technology, which means that it actually uses sound waves to create a 3D scan of your fingerprint when you place your thumb on the screen. This is different than the optical sensor used on other in-display fingerprint scanners like the one found on the OnePlus 6T, which uses light to take a picture of your fingerprint.
It’s official – the elusive OnePlus One will be hitting India from December 2, exclusively through the local branch of Amazon.
Amazon and OnePlus will be seeding 1,000 invites across the internet, and users will need to get hold of one in order to purchase the device. One avenue that is already open is subscribing to OnePlus’ newsletter. Once the invites go out (by December 2), customers will have 48 hours to complete the purchase.
The RuuviTag is a microcontroller-based sensor node which can measure temperature, relative air humidity, air pressure and motion (via a built-in accelerometer), and transmit that data over Bluetooth Low Energy. It includes a 1,000mAh CR2477 battery, which means it can run for up to four years without the need to change the battery. It can operate indoors or outdoors due to its IP67 certified weatherproof enclosure, and its -40ºC to +85ºC operating parameters!
Austrian brand Swarovski will launch its first Android Wear smartwatch at the watch and jewelry show Baselworld 2017, which begins March 23. The timepiece is being developed in partnership with Qualcomm and Google, and will be designed exclusively for women.
Swarovski has previously worked on smartwatches (see the Samsung Gear S strap in the image above and the Huawei Watch For Ladies) but hasn’t yet introduced its own device. The watch was teased at CES 2017 where Swarovski revealed it would use a Qualcomm processor, but more specific details regarding price, availability and hardware haven’t been outlined.
