Speculation based on recent Gmail rumors and previous press photos used by the company to promote several Nexus devices seems to indicate that Android 4.3 and/or a new Nexus device may arrive soon.
A reddit user posted a series of interesting images (available below) that show press images for almost all of Google’s Nexus devices revealing the connection of those photos with the Android version they were launched with.
Sure, this is just speculation for now, but here’s what you’ll see in the images below (check out the time shown on the handsets and tablets):
TL;DR
Google launched Inbox by Gmail almost four years ago with innovative features not found in Gmail. The company has announced that it will stop supporting Inbox in March of 2019. Google suggests users start using Gmail again which now features most of the tools originally found in Inbox. When Google launched the Inbox by Gmail email client in October of 2014, it was a place for the search giant to experiment and test out new and innovative features.
As you may know, Google always names a new version of Android after a sweet and tasty treat. These include Jelly Bean, KitKat, Lollipop, Marshmallow, and the latest Nougat. We already know that the name of the next version of Android (8.0) will start with the letter O, but we don’t know for sure what it will be called.
A few days ago, Hiroshi Lockheimer, the senior vice president of Android at Google, posted a GIF of an Oreo cake on his Twitter account, which some took a hint that the next version of Android would be called Oreo.
Last nightEvleaks brought us one of the clearest images of the Moto X+1 we’ve seen to date as a “retirement gift”. What might have slipped your notice about the Verizon-branded model is that it seems to have Verizon Messages app in its dock, as opposed to the default Android messaging app or Hangouts.
just about every recent Android device has shipped with Verizon Messages, including the Galaxy S5, LG G3 and HTC One M8
So a few days ago we went to do a routine sales options check on the NVIDIA Shield Tablet K1, and we discovered it was out of stock on NVIDIA’s website. Puzzled but not dismayed, we hit up Amazon next only to discover that it was only available from third party sellers. A quick jaunt over to Newegg produced similar results: no Shield Tablet K1 devices to be seen. What gives?
Leaked picture apparently showing the HTC One M10’s rear camera
HTC’s next flagship smartphone, tentatively known as the One M10, is nearing its April 11th launch date and the company has now begun dripping out a few teasers. Speaking in an interview at MWC, HTC CFO Chialin Chang has been suggesting that we will see a much improved camera inside the Taiwanese company’s next flagship smartphone.
Hit and miss camera performance was a common criticism levelled at HTC’s last few generations of One flagship handsets.
As you might already know, flashing a custom ROM is a great way to make the most out of your Android device. Unfortunately, the experience isn’t always a straightforward one and requires time, patience and a little know how.
Arguably one of the biggest inconveniences with flashing a custom ROM is that you have to manually install Google Apps if you want to enjoy Google Play and all the other great Google services.
Alcatel has released a phone that may be able to put up with your fun and active lifestyle. It is not the super high-end smartphone of our dreams, but the Alcatel GO PLAY sure has plenty to offer considering its low $199.99 price point. And it is now available for purchase straight from Alcatel’s website.
But what is this phone all about? We understand it’s easy for a gadget like this one to fly under the radar, but it will probably cater a good experience to the right user.

It’s a shame LG left the smartphone industry, as the company always had a reputation for trying new and quirky things. This was particularly true in the camera space, as it debuted features like ultrawide cameras, manual video modes, and flexible triple rear cameras.
However, there’s one underappreciated LG camera feature that deserves some love and should be copied by other smartphone companies. We’re talking about LG’s Graphy functionality.
On Monday, a Samsung factory located in the city of Campinas, in São Paulo, Brazil, was robbed and held at gunpoint. According to ZDNet, around 20 men disguised as factory workers snuck in during the night shift. A little after midnight, the criminals held a few Samsung employees hostage and began their raid of the factory. The employees who were not being held hostage continued to work, but had the batteries taken out of their cell phones.
