Lenovo makes some pretty decent smart home products, especially when it comes to its smart displays, which are powered by Google Assistant. Right now, there are some totally insane smart home deals happening at Lenovo that will save you buckets of cash. With the introduction of Xiaomi’s very own mobile payment platform Mi Pay, NFC became an essential feature for the Chinese company. Mi Pay is particularly useful in its home turf since it can be used for public transport such as buses and metro. And that’s why when Xiaomi unveiled the Mi 5s and the Mi 5s Plus back in September, they made sure to explain that full NFC capabilities would be coming to those devices by the end of October.

In addition to its smaller 7-inch 1,024 x 600 resolution touchscreen, the body of the Lenovo Smart Display 7 has been redesigned to place the speakers at the bottom of the product, rather than on the left side, as was the case with the older smart displays from the company. This will give the new product a more compact footprint that should allow it to be used in more spaces, such as your bedroom night table or work desktop.
