Is it? That depends on how you measure devices. At 7.6 mm the new iPhone is pretty anorexic; then again the Motorola Droid RAZR, the first one, the one that was announced in October 2011, is even thinner at 7.1 mm. But, and this is a big but, it has a huge hump at the top of the device that’s 10.6 mm thick according to Engadget. There’s also some devices in China that we’d like to point out.

YouTube Android app gets a new bottom navigation bar in latest update

Android fans of the YouTube app will soon notice that the main navigation bar will be moved from the top to the bottom of the app. This is part of the latest update to the YouTube app, which began rolling out today in the Google Play Store. In a post on its product forums, Google stated that this new update for Android will make the YouTube experience more consistent across its mobile platforms (the new UI is already available on the iOS app).

Apple might launch low-cost iPhone SE 2 in March: Report

Apple’s low-cost iPhone — potentially called the iPhone SE 2 — could launch as early as March this year. A new report from Bloomberg cites people familiar with Apple’s road map saying that the new phone will go into production starting February. The report goes on to say that the assembly of the 4.7-inch iPhone will be split between Hon Hai Precision Industry, Pegatron Corp, and Wistron Corp. This is Apple’s second budget iPhone after the iPhone SE which was launched back in 2016.
