There is a lot to love about the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. From its the massive and gorgeous display, to its great built-in software, or even the S Pen. Hey, maybe you just think it is sexy. While some of these were also present in the OG Note, one of the most unique features making its way over to the Note 2 is known as multi-window. This new software feature allows you to run multiple apps in a split-screen mode, effectively taking multitasking to a whole new level.

The OnePlus 5 might be known for its design and cost, but OnePlus really pushes its camera system. After all, the company teamed up with DxO, the company behind the DxOMark camera benchmark, with the OnePlus 5’s box having the “Dual Camera. Clearer Photos” tagline embossed on it. It appears as if DxOMark took note of the camera system too, since the benchmark deemed it one of the better ones out there.

The OnePlus Concept One has triple cameras that turn invisible

The OnePlus Concept One prototype smartphone is all set to make its debut at CES 2020. We haven’t really heard much about the mysterious phone but some juicy details have just been revealed. Wired has outed a bunch of information about the OnePlus Concept One and the company itself has teased the device in a new video. As you can see in the video above, the OnePlus Concept One features an industry-first invisible camera setup.

Update: Plex Live TV now available on Roku

Update (10/12/17): Plex is now rolling out the Live TV to Roku users. Previously, the service had only been available for Android, Android TV, iOS, Apple TV, Fire TV, and on the Plex web app. Now Roku users with software version v5.0.4 or newer and access to the Roku Preview Channel can get in on the action too. Almost all the features you’d see on other devices are here too. You can watch live TV, play, pause, and skip around, and watch recordings from supported platforms.

Vertu sold to Chinese investors (Update: working on its own OS?)

Update: Earlier today we learned that Vertu had been sold to Chinese investors. Now we've learned a tiny bit more about the new owner's plans. According to Engadget, it turns out that Godin Holdings, one of the investors, is a four-month-old shell company of Godin Cyberspace Security Technology, which is currently working on its own secure smartphone OS called GOS. Not much is known about the OS, though it is likely based on Android with a similar concept as we’ve seen from devices like the Blackphone.

YouTube reinstates that GTA V exploding Galaxy Note 7 video

The video of the GTA V mod featuring an exploding Galaxy Note 7 has resurfaced on YouTube. Following Samsung’s takedown request to YouTube – who did indeed remove the video – the YouTube channel owner who posted the video filed a counter-claim against Samsung. And won. Galaxy Note 7 recall could cause major internal changes at Samsung News sdaddy345 submitted the claim, got his video reinstated and promptly published the entire correspondence with YouTube so we could all see how it went down.

Android 4.3 update starts rolling out for Sony Xperia T, TX, V and SP

Cutting it pretty close, Sonyhas now announced that the update is now starting to rollout. Aside from Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and all the expected changes that come with it, there’s also many Sony-specific goodies including updates to Messaging, Smart Connect, Track ID and Sony Select. There’s also new versions of Sony’s media apps and the addition of downloadable themes, such as those now found on the Xperia Z series.

Android SDK gets major usability update, thanks to GPU acceleration

Google is releasing revision number 18 of its Android emulator, which should be a real treat for Android developers of the world in dire need for better tools to build the next big hit in Google Play Store. According to a post made on Android Developers’ blog, the latest revision will bring “a dramatic performance upgrade and support for a broader range of hardware features, notably sensors and multi-finger input”.
