LG could be sticking to LCD screens for its G series phones and OLED displays for its V range. The company used OLED screens in the V30 and V30S devices, while the new G7 has an LCD panel. OLED displays are more expensive than LCD screens but offer deeper blacks. LG is working on a two-pronged strategy for LCD and OLED screens on its smartphones, it has been reported.

A leak suggests Samsung’s Galaxy Note 20 line will carry a €999 starting price in Europe. You could expect to pay considerably more for 5G and Ultra models. The Galaxy Buds Live could start at €189. You might be disappointed if you were hoping the Galaxy Note 20 would cost as much or less as its Note 10 predecessor. Frequent leaker Ishan Agarwal and MySmartPrice claim to have European pricing for the Note 20 series, and you may be paying a premium for the latest version of the pen-focused smartphone.
Samsung has announced that its new security platform, Samsung KNOX, will support Microsoft’s security minded enterprise software, which includes Workplace Join, Windows Intune, Windows Azure and cloud printing of Microsoft Office documents.
The press release dated February 28th represents a big win for Microsoft as it struggles to gain a foothold in the mobile space, and a powerful set of tools for Samsung KNOX enterprise users. The combination of these technologies will improve security and productivity for KNOX users, which really just means you will be able to bring your new Samsung Galaxy S5 to work.
Samsung is ready to commercialize wireless technology that can handle transfer speeds of up to 575MB per second. A 1GB movie could be streamed in less than three seconds at this speed.
Samsung’s technology is based on the 802.11ad (WiGig) WiFi standard, which was finalized in December 2012. 802.11ad uses 60GHz spectrum, in addition to the 5GHz and 2.4GHz bands supported by the currently available 802.11ac standard, for theoretical speeds of up to 7Gbps.

Yo is a new app, a real app that does one thing, and one thing only. It lets you send a “yo” text and sound notification to a friend. That “yo” can mean whatever you want it to mean. It’s simplicity taken to extreme, perhaps beyond it.

Asus showed a prototype of the MeMo 370T tablet back at the CES in January, but ever since then, the company’s officials left us guessing about their plans with the 7-incher. There were rumors that the gadget’s production has been cancelled, while other “sources” told us that we will see the tablet hit the market as the MeMo 370T during the summer. The most trustworthy speculations, however, pointed towards Asus and Google working together on a Nexus Tablet, set to cost under $250 and to be based on the MeMo 370T prototype.
We’ve known for a few days that Asus is preparing something special for this year’s Computex technology expo, but no video teasers could have prepared us for what hit us today. The Asus Transformer AiO is not a simple tablet dual booting Android and Windows 8, as we all suspected, but an all-in-one PC running Google’s and Microsoft’s operating systems, that can turn into a tablet in a matter of seconds.
