If you’re familiar with Hitman but not it’s ‘Go’ spinoff, then you’re probably imagining a very different VR experience than the one that will be arriving on Samsung Gear VR and Oculus Rift tomorrow. No, you won’t be thrust into the first person perspective of everyone’s favorite barcoded assassin, tasked to end human life up close and personal in all the gritty realism of a virtual reality experience. Quite the opposite.
Samsung’s first move against the iPhone 5 was not an LTE-based lawsuit to try to ban the sales of the device in the region – although such action is very likely considering recent reports – but an iPhone 5 vs Galaxy S3 newspaper ad meant to show consumers the differences between the two devices.
Titled “It doesn’t take a genius,” the ad shows potential buyers who would be choosing between the two devices why Samsung believes its 2012 flagship device is better than Apple’s freshly unveiled sixth-generation iPhone.

MediaTek has quickly become one of the most important chip-makers in the Android world, largely due to its presence in a large number of devices aimed at emerging markets across the globe, including India and China. That said, it’s reputation for less-than-great SoCs and its unwillingness to release source code means that it isn’t exactly the brand of choice for most hardcore Android enthusiasts.
MediaTek is no Qualcomm when it comes to innovation either, but that doesn’t mean it won’t occasionally release something worth sitting up and taking notice of.

We’ve been telling you for a long time how much we’d love to see a smartphone with a full-sized slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a dual-core S4 or quad-core proc, and Android 4.0 ICS, but, much to our desperation, nobody seems to be listening to our desires.
Or nobody seemed to be listening, because we’ve just picked up a leak on a mysterious Motorola handheld that could well fit the bill. The phone, if real, will be surely hitting Sprint soon enough, but other than that and the fact that it will come with a 5-row QWERTY keyboard, we can’t say nothing for sure right now.

Instead of asking players to walk around with their phone in front of their face, Niantic may look to include audio cues instead.
