The Glassdoor app now tells you if you're being paid enough

Glassdoor, the job search and review website, has released a new feature which can tell you if you’re being paid fairly. The search function, entitled ‘Know Your Worth’, asks for key details about your current occupation and previous experience to determine if your wage is more or less than the average for your industry. Once you’ve filled in your details, Glassdoor will display a graph of your pay versus your market value over time, which could help inform your future business decisions.

Benchmarks suggest Dimensity 9000 is no pushover for Qualcomm

Supplied by Mediatek TL;DR Mediatek has posted a video showing benchmarks for the Dimensity 9000. It suggests that the Mediatek chip can beat the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 in multi-core CPU tasks. Qualcomm’s chipset seems to be significantly faster in GPU benchmarks though. Mediatek and Qualcomm have both revealed their flagship processors for 2022, and it looks like the two chipsets are similarly capable on paper. Qualcomm revealed Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 benchmarks via journalists at the chipset’s launch, and Mediatek has now released a video showing off the Dimensity 9000’s benchmark performance.

Samsung skipped the Galaxy S3 from the Android 4.2 update, leaving the handset on the aging Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, first announced in June 2012. But that will change soon, as promised. Following the Galaxy S4, Samsung has begun pushing out the Android 4.3 update to the Galaxy S3, bringing a slew of improvements and new features to the popular 2012 flagship. LG patent reveals smartphone with 16 cameras, but why?

TL;DR LG has filed a patent for a smartphone with 16 rear-facing cameras. According to the patent, the camera array could be used to take snaps from many angles. The array could also allow users to replace sections of a photo with sections from another camera angle. A new LG patent spotted by LetsGoDigital (h/t: Ice Universe) shows a smartphone with 16 cameras on the rear. The cameras are arranged in four rows of four, albeit at differing angles, as seen in the main image.

Snapdragon 855, triple rear camera for 600 euros

Update, May 10, 2019 (8:42AM ET): ZTE has clarified the difference between the Axon 10 Pro and Axon 10 Pro 5G. The company noted that both phones are available with 6GB or 8GB of RAM, and 64GB/128GB/256GB storage options. The company also told Android Authority that both models sport NFC and wireless charging. So it seems like you’re essentially paying 300 euros extra for 5G support. Update, May 8, 2019 (10:00AM ET): ZTE has confirmed that the Axon 10 Pro and 5G variant will be launching outside China, albeit only in Germany for now.
