Best Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 7.2 cases

The Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 7.2 are the company’s latest mid-range champions. While the latter is undoubtedly the better option of the two, with its faster processing package and better cameras, the former lets you save a decent bit of money while also being able to handle a lot. Both are identical in terms of design though. To keep these phones safe, here are the best protective cases for the Nokia 6.

Google knows what hotel you are staying at, now suggests stuff in the area

Google is continuing their push to expand their contextually aware services to each and every one of us. Last week they announced an update to Maps that adds an Explore button that only shows at the right moment, based on factors including your location. This week, Google Search is adding the ability to help you out when on vacation or business trip, by allowing you to use your hotel as a point of reference.

iPhone 7 vs the Android competition

The last month or so has been an exciting time for Android enthusiasts, what with the launch of the Galaxy Note 7, LG V20 and others, and now it’s Apple turn to release its latest flagships, the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. The two new smartphones don’t mark a major departure from Apple’s long running design philosophy, but they are packing in some new features that might please fans old and new.

RadioShack offers select Boost and Virgin Mobile phones on promotion

It is no secret that off-contract smartphones are increasing in popularity; with decreasing prices and new players getting in the game, what seemed like a passing whim will surely become a trend soon enough. Minor carriers like Boost and Virgin Mobile are becoming stronger by the day, and, although we don’t see them threatening Verizon, AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile anytime soon, their market shares are definitely going up. But if for some reason Boost and Virgin’s offers failed to convince you until now, the next days seem like the ideal moment to go from postpaid to prepaid, courtesy of a “yard sale” organized in collaboration with RadioShack.

A mid-range phone with flagship touches

The V11’s headline feature is probably the in-display fingerprint scanner. There are a couple of non-flagship phones with this feature (such as Vivo’s own X21), but it’s still rare to find on a device today. Is it more than just a Vivo V9 with an in-display fingerprint scanner though? Playboy headphones are a thing now with Icon 1

You read that right — Playboy headphones. The company that made its name by selling nudie mags is now getting into the audio business. Its first product is the Playboy Icon 1, a sleek set of wireless over-ear headphones. The all-black headset has several Playboy “bunny” logos inside the earcups, on the headband, and the word Playboy written across the top. As one would expect, the Playboy Icon 1 support Bluetooth, hands-free calling, an optional wired connection, etc.

Timbre is a totally free app for editing video and audio

Good audio and video editing tools are somewhat hard to come by on mobile — a sentiment shared by app developer Xeus. The dev was prompted to create the Timbre: Cut, Join, Convert mp3 app after failing to find a “decent” tool for doing the same in the Play Store. And what Xeus has come up with is certainly an effective tool. Despite the name, Timbre lets you do more than just edit mp3s: you can split and join audio or video, remove sections within a range, and combine files together, as well as remove the sound from your videos or create audio tracks from them.

Vivo Xplay 6 is a Galaxy S7 edge clone with a cheaper price tag

Does the image above look very familiar? I don’t blame you because apart from the rounder home button, it looks just like Samsung’s current curved flagship, the Galaxy S7 edge. Well, this is not the S7 edge; it’s Vivo’s latest phablet, featuring a dual-edge display and a dual-camera set up, and not too surprisingly, it’s cheaper than Samsung’s offering.
