Microsoft OneClip is a cross-platform cloud clipboard app

Continuing with its new focus on a cross-platform strategy, Microsoft is developing a new productivity tool called OneClip. It’s a cloud clipboard application that allows for easy copy and pasting of data between devices, regardless of their operating system. OneClip is a universal clipboard app that can be installed onto multiple devices across a variety of platforms. Once installed, users can retrieve items copied to their online clipboard using the application.

A phone with model number 2109119BC recently passed through TENAA (h/t GSMArena), showcasing its design and several key specs. Perhaps the most intriguing aspect is its display.

Disney Plus trials in The Netherlands offer a peek into the new service

The Disney Plus streaming service has landed in the Netherlands before its official November 12 launch. The Disney Plus app is now reportedly (viaThe Verge) available on the Dutch Google Play Store and trials are apparently free for now. The Play Store listing of the new streaming service confirms that this free trial is currently only available in the Netherlands. The free trial will remain open in the country until the official November 12 launch of the service.

Screen tearing and stuttering in PC games just suck. We both know it and VSync really isn’t a great solution. Nvidia acknowledged the issue by introducing Adaptive VSync to help eradicate visual artifacts. But that was only a temporary fix. OnePlus says OnePlus 3 and 3T will get Android O by end of 2017

Qualcomm brings the Snapdragon 865 to robotics with its RB5 platform

Qualcomm has announced a new robotics platform based around a variant of its Snapdragon 865 processor. The Robotics RB5 uses the QRB5165 processor with the same CPU, GPU, ISP, and DSP as the Snapdragon 865, but this time with support for industrial-grade temperate ranges from -40°C to 105°C, plus some nice enhancements around computer vision. If you think Qualcomm only makes chips for smartphones, think again. Ingenuity, A.K.A. the Mars Helicopter, is a clever device that will be launched towards Mars this summer.

Samsung Galaxy S10 phones support Netflix HDR10 video

This is good news for those that want to take advantage of the Galaxy S10 phones’ Dynamic OLED displays, which are the first smartphone displays to support HDR10+. Whereas HDR10 features a set metadata channel, HDR10+ features a dynamic metadata channel with a variable midpoint of the dynamic range. Facebook decline: Daily use went down for first time
