Facebook updated its Messenger Lite app with video chat functionality. You can either start a video call from a conversation or turn a voice call into a video call. Designed for low-end phones with minimal storage and slower internet connections, Messenger Lite now includes video chat functionality, after an update today. The app might not be as “lite” as initially intended anymore, but that is not necessarily a bad thing.
The Pixel 2 problems continue, though this latest one actually has some charm. Like this previous issues, this was once again noted multiple times in the Google Product forums, and once more relates to the XL 2 display. But it’s not washed out colors or burn-in that’s the subject this time: this is more like an exclusive lightning mode.

A lot has been said about the Windows Phone brand, the glaring lack of apps that then scuppered the platform, and Microsoft’s frequent platform reboots that left users in the lurch.

TL;DR
MediaTek has launched the Dimensity 1200 and 1100 processors. The Dimensity 1200 is the flagship-level chipset while the Dimensity 1100 is a step below. The chips still sport the same GPU as last year’s Dimensity 1000 series. MediaTek launched its first flagship chip in a couple of years when it revealed the Dimensity 1000 series at the end of 2019. The chip and its Dimensity 1000 Plus variant didn’t quite challenge the Snapdragon 865 in terms of sheer horsepower, but it still brought plenty of power and features to the table.
LG didn’t announce a 5.5 inch 1080p phone at CES, and for some strange reason people are upset. We’d rather the company announce that device and then ship it a month later instead of repeating the horrible mess that was the Optimus 4X HD. Remember that thing? It was announced in February 2012, but it didn’t start shipping until half a year later!
Forgetting about phones for a second, LG is a company that should be recognized for their amazing screen technology.
