Samsung Galaxy S3 now available on Virgin Mobile, costs $399.99

A few weeks ago, we reported that the Samsung Galaxy S3 would be arriving on two of Sprint’s two subsidiary networks, Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile, within the next month. Now, the LTE-equipped Samsung Galaxy S3 is available on Virgin Mobile. The device will run you $399.99 outright, or you can use PayPal’s Bill Me Later service to pay that amount at a later date, though, if the amount isn’t paid within six months, you’ll be charged interest starting from the purchase date.

The best VPN for Fire Stick in 2021

Dhruv Bhutani / Android Authority The main reason to use a VPN for your Fire Stick is to get access to more content via streaming services like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and others on your TV. Just download a VPN app on the device, switch it on, connect to a server of choice, and you’re good to go. Without a VPN, you are limited to the content that’s only available in your country.

Flexible Displays Coming to Smartphones This Year

It’s no secret that Samsung is working hard on producing flexible OLED displays, and that the Koreans eventually want to put bendable displays in all kinds of gadgets, from wristwatches to big screen TVs. Over the last year or so, we got to see all kind of crazy displays from Sammy, including bended displays (how would you like a round-shaped smartphone?), semitransparent screens, and even futuristic paper-like OLED screens. Flexible Displays Are Moving Out of Beta Samsung first announced their plans to put flexible OLEDs into real products back in June 2011.

Talon For Twitter 2.0 includes a new widget and many other changes

Talon For Twitter was updated to version 2.0 today with an incredibly long change log that includes everything from a new widget to a floating compose button and a slew of minor fixes or changes. The biggest change in how the app actually works is the new floating compose button which appears floating above your Timeline instead of in the action bar. The new location makes it easier to tap the button to compose a tweet, especially on larger phones where your thumb may not easily reach the top of the phone when you’re using just one hand.

The TouchWiz 4, MIUI 4, and stock Ice Cream Sandwich launchers are the must-have skins on your Samsung Galaxy S. You can enjoy all these three on your Samsung Galaxy S GT-I9000 running an AOSP-based Android ICS custom ROM by installing WeUI ROM. XDA Developers member nightstalk0 reveals a new ROM for your phone. WeUI ROM lets you enjoy the sought-after Android skins—TouchWiz 4, MIUI 4, and ICS Launcher—right on your Samsung Galaxy S.

ASUS ZenUI Launcher now compatible with any phone running Android 4.3 or higher

In the early days of Android, OEM-created UX skins were perhaps a “necessary evil” in the eyes of some critics. Google’s own OS had far less usability solutions than it does today, meaning that TouchWiz and its irk provided some clear and sincere “value added services”. Defenders often point out, for example, that Samsung had a brightness slider and quick setting toggles on the notification shade ages before Mountain View ever got inspired.

CHUCHEL is a beautiful comedy-adventure game coming to Android early 2018

If you were thinking that there had been a drought of adorable comedy-adventure titles on Android, then the news of CHUCHEL might be music to your ears. CHUCHEL is an upcoming game from Czech indie studio Amanita Design, who you may know as the team behind point-and-click adventure games Samorost, Botanicula, and Machinarium. It looks like another wacky take on the adventure game genre, typical of the studio, though trying to work out specifically how it plays based on the trailer above isn’t exactly easy (I’d recommend playing it with sound if you want to get the full experience).
