Huawei P20 Pro scratch, burn, and bend test doesn't end well

TL;DR The Huawei P20 Pro has been subjected to a series of stress tests on the JerryRigEverything YouTube channel. The device survives the treatment like many of its competitors, until the bend test, where the display cracks. This rarely happens during these tests on the channel, though they don’t necessarily represent real-world scenarios. The Huawei P20 Pro has been put through its paces in the latest durability test from YouTube channel JerryRigEverything.

LG V20 software feature focus: the first Nougat phone

The LG V20 has been officially unveiled, and we had the opportunity to go hands-on with this Nougat-powered flagship to see just how LG handled the device’s software design. You heard that right. The LG V20 runs Android 7.0 Nougat right out of the box, making it the first phone to ship with Nougat, even ahead of Google’s upcoming Pixel phones. That said, you won’t feel much of a difference on the surface, because LG has their in-house UI running over the top, and they haven’t changed too much here.

The Android vs iOS battle will continue until one of them is gone. Given that is slowly losing its grasp on the mobile market, we’d be willing to bet that it won’t be Android that goes down first. However, new studies have come out showing that Apple controls the web share by nearly 40%.Let’s observe the facts. Dear Huawei, please fix your camera software

The Huawei P20 and P20 Pro have been on the market a little over two months now and I’ve been making good use of the impressive camera setup in that time. It’s something that Huawei needs to address to turn a great camera into a truly excellent one, and it’s definitely not a “feature” that we want to see come to more of its upcoming smartphones. The aggressive oversharpening, followed up by a tad too much denoise, produces an almost painted effect in some scenes.

The Moto G proved that you could have a great Android experience without paying a fortune and this is a trend that has continued in full force ever since.

Elon Musk is now the world's second-richest person, and more tech news today

Your tech news digest, by way of the DGiT Daily tech newsletter, for Tuesday, 24 November 2020. 1. Elon Musk blows by Bill Gates to become the world’s second-richest personBill Gates has mostly been the richest person in the world for as long as I can remember, and even when he was unseated by the likes of Carlos Slim, it seemed like an aberration. Now Gates is a long way behind Jeff Bezos who looks set (even after a costly divorce) to be the first person to reach $200 billion in net worth, not that the numbers feel like they mean anything at this point.
